The first step concerning managing your inventory is adding your “Products &\u00a0 Services”<\/strong> and you can do that through the following steps.<\/p>\n

  1. Through the \u201cInventory<\/strong>\u201d tab, select the\u00a0 “Inventory”<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
  2. Click the “New Product”<\/strong> button on the top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Add the new Product\u2019s details:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. \u201cName\u201d:<\/strong> Enter the product “Name”<\/strong> (make sure to select a remarkable clear attributive name).<\/li>\n
    2. \u201cDescription\u201d:\u00a0<\/strong>Add a “Description”<\/strong> to the “Products\/Services”<\/strong> you are offering\/presenting.\n
        \n
      1. \u00a0<\/strong>If you want to use one field only for describing your item, leave this particular field empty and it will not be showing on the invoice.<\/li>\n
      2. This is not a mandatory field.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. \u201cRetail Price\u201d:\u00a0<\/strong>Enter the price (WITHOUT)<\/strong> the currency symbol as this is not a mandatory field.<\/li>\n
      4. \u201cTax 1&2\u201d:<\/strong> Select the default tax to add to the “Product\/Service”<\/strong>.( This is also not a mandatory field). You can add one or two taxes (or no tax at all).<\/li>\n
      5. \u201cProduct Code\u201d:<\/strong> Determine the “Product\/Service Code”<\/strong> (This is also not a mandatory field). Determining the “Product Code”<\/strong> allows you to locate the product code if you were to use the \u201cSearch\u201d<\/strong> bar.<\/li>\n
      6. \u201cBar Code\u201d:<\/strong> An optional field to fill out and on the other hand, it will help you to locate your “Products\/Services”<\/strong> using a \u201cBar Code Scanner\u201d<\/strong> while creating your invoices.<\/li>\n
      7. \u201cCategory\u201d<\/strong>: Classify your “Products\/Services”<\/strong> into Categories so you can easily locate them by their categories using the\u00a0 \u201cSearch\u201d<\/strong> bar.<\/li>\n
      8. \u201c<\/strong>Tags\u201d:<\/strong> Add any \u201cTags\u201d<\/strong> to your “Products\/Services”.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      9. \u201c<\/strong>Internal Notes\u201d:<\/strong> This feature allows your to add any specific notes to the “Products\/Services”<\/strong> whether to describe it or to write a shortly briefed paragraph about the details.<\/li>\n
      10. Check the “Track Stock”<\/strong> checkbox to let the system track the number of products and update it automatically with every operation done with it (sale – purchase).\n

        1. Regarding the \u201cInitial Stock Level<\/strong>\u201d, enter the current quantity of the items in stock.<\/li>\n
        2. Regarding the \u201cLow Stock Threshold<\/strong>\u201d, you will get a low stock notification when product quantity is equal or below this number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        3. \u201c<\/strong>Temporarily Deactivate\u201d:<\/strong> this feature allows you to “Temporarily Deactivate”<\/strong> the product\/service existing on file by checking the checkbox on the left-hand side of the\u201cTemporarily Deactivate\u201d<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
